  1. I appreciated reading about your shallots last year. I am hoping for a dry weekend so I can get my next crop planted.

    1. I see that you were wise enough to erect a hoop tunnel over some plants. Last year I did, but it got very cold real early and I didn't feel like I gained much in extending the season. So I gave up on a late bed of lettuce that was really coming on. Also my Swiss Chard would have done real well under plastic this year. I am experimenting with winter sowing seeds and have about 30 milk jugs planted and waiting for the weather to warm up so they can sprout.
