I have a vegetable garden in Midwestern Northern Illinois. It is organic, has raised beds, and I am using double digging techniques (actually bastard trenching), along with French Intensive concepts. I broke ground in December of 2009, and I hope that if you are a beginning or struggling gardener that this blog will be an encouragement to you.

How did you find a papa criollas plant in the US?!? Did they produce any potatoes?
ReplyDeleteEmily I brought some back with me. They did not produce any potatoes. I think they would have in a normal year, but we went three months with no rain at all, and really high temps. The ground just became dust, and they shriveled up and died. I think in normal year they would grow all year and then set the fruit in September and October.
ReplyDeleteHi.. do you still have papa criolla?
